A student who pastes a question into a chatbot and copies the answer has learned nothing. A student who asks the same tool to explain why the answer works, and then reproduces it alone, learns faster than they ever did from a textbook.
Four Rules That Work
- Ask for explanations, never for finished homework.
- Verify every fact, date and number against a second source.
- Use it to generate practice questions, not to answer them for you.
- Write the first draft yourself, then ask for a critique.
